The rear of the letter stencil shows the missing paint much more clearly. This is where the tall light bulbs melted away the paint.

The reflector guide pin is now installed (the end is just above and to the left of the red "B" on the reflector). The two nylon bushings can be seen on each side of the reflector spindle. These bushings are temporary replacements for the metal caps, which are missing. As the reflector lever is rotated downward, these bushings push the reflector into the rotors, via the two ramps on the back of the reflector,
